the house coffee sanctuary is...

A non-profit coffee shop owned and operated by First Alliance Church. We opened our doors in November 2001 with the purpose of being a positive influence in the Kensington community. As Christians, we believe we are called to reach out in love to our neighbors, so we run and host a variety of programs that cater to different needs felt in this community.
Some of the things we are involved in are:

Alphabetx - a program set up to give street kids who do graffiti an outlet for their art.

Emmaus - a fine art group who seek to witness and produce art as a reflection of their faith

Acoustic Open Mic Night - a time for local musicians to have a chance to perform for an audience.

Kingsbridge - a chance to hear music and discussion around current pop culture.
